Are you window seat flyer? Whats your best memory of window seat view?

Are you window seat flyer? Whats your best memory of window seat view?

As a traveler I always love flying on airplanes and my first and last choice is always window seat. Being on the top of the world, watching the views as the planes take off and land, getting the glimpse of the city and its life, watching the clouds play around you, it has always been one of my most unforgettable moments!

My best memorable window views has mostly in places around Europe. Whether its Aegean sea or Norwegian Sea or snow wrapped fjords or just a neat blanket of white-blue clouds, I have always cherished the views! Below are some of the few collections :

view over Oslo, Norway (Gives a more stronger feeling)
View over Tromso, Norway (it was bit cloudy, but the fjords were incredible)

Even sometimes when people starting flying regularly, they get tired or bored of watching window view, but for me watching the world out from there has always been fascinating!

Watching aerial views is one of the best thing to do when flying around the world. Do you have memory of such view? Are you actually a window flyer or Aisle one? 🙂

I actually prefer aisle but the widow view does have its charm. Makes you realize how vast and varied earth is and how small we are in comparison

Yes that’s true! I actually used to fly aisle only, in fact I always used to be among the first one to check in and grab the emergency exit seats with better leg space but then I fell in love with window views and forget all the rest comforts! 😁 …thanks for sharing your comments! 🙂

But if you include helicopters, especially with no door, Na Pali Coast in Kauai: https://murrayfoote.com/2015/04/27/waimea-canyon-and-na-pali-coast-from-above-ir/ and post before and after.

I am definitely window seat flyer! But using cheap airlines lately I am always unlucky with getting the window seat and as younger and traveling with my family I always had to change the seat with my siblings during the trip (because everyone wanted to see outside…)
You photos are amazing! My favorite window seat memory is definitely when I was once leaving London and for some reason there was fireworks everywhere! It was so beautiful, colorful shapes under me but above London’s city lights in the dark. 🙂

I can imagine the luck with the low cost. This is the reason when I was flying to tromso from oslo thru Norwegian I specifically booked window seat in advance to capture the amazing views…but otherwise it’s always about luck! …btw the fireworks over London really sounds awesome..did you capture a pic during then? Would love to see that! 🙂

Omg, amazing photos! I never take photos when I’m up in there myself, but maybe that’s because I always try to sit in the aisle seat! And why is that, you may ask? Because I use the bathroom ALL THE DAMN TIME. So rather than disturbing whatever poor soul is next to me, and just in general inconveniencing myself, I always go for the aisle seat. I won’t lie though… watching yourself land in a new place (or even actually just going back home) from the window seat is one of life’s greatest pleasures, because you know it’s gonna be… Read more »

Thank you!! Well I used to travel on aisle seats before for the same reason but then I gave up when I fell in love with window seat views! I still disturb the pour souls so many times especially when it’s a three seater! 😁😁…you shouldn’t think much about it and give it a try. You will love it! 🙂

Loooool, you’d be the annoyance that needs an aisle seat who I’d be secretly cussing out. Haha, maybe one day – on a short haul flight!

Seeing an aerial view from a plane is like no other! I can stare out the window every minute of the flight. I’d choose a window seat over an aisle seat any day. Amazing photos by the way👍
